Purchasers were rep- resented from five provinces and Ber- muda, and brisk bidding resulted in -an-over-all average of -$502: 73- for-the |- entire offering, being an increase over the satisfactory average of $493.25 established in the 1951 Sale. Forty- four head went through 'the ring, of which gix new-born heifer/calves av- eraged -162,50, The top ten females averaged $601.50. Immediately following was a striking | 3-yr-old daughter of- Lonelm Texal Highcroft, consigned by Wm, McGris- kin & Son, Agincourt. Entered for the Royal Winter Fair, milking 70 pounds in the Arena and with a high pedigree, she seemed a bargain at the price. Purchasers were: W. S. Hall of OakVville-and J. Houck of Brampton, who have gathered to- gether a group by this same sire, Runner-up bidders were Pickard & Clark of Carstairs, Alberta, who set- tled for her two weeks old daughter at $300., sired by one of the younger sires in the Maple Unit--Clyde Hill Royal Elsie Lad. ® c.w.1 EUCHRE and ~ DANCE IN | UTICA HALL Fri.
