Now Lindsay ean win from Peterboro but not from Port. And then again Port seem to have difficulty with the Petes, and vet they can take Lindsay quite easily, This see-sawing of winning has constantly made it difficult to keep track of team standing but at the moment it is Peterboro first, Port 'second, Lindsay . third, Collingwood fourth and Midland fifth. Refereeing one of these Junior games is no mean job, in fact Lindsay showed a decided dislike to said of - ficial in both games while Port seems to have decided that it is time they left it up to him what the ruling will be. Port Flyers carried the play in both * | games and passing plays showed their worth. In Tuesday night's game, the Flyers goal-getters were Zedic from Gibson and Till, in the first period. Second period, Dystra, unassisted; Romanuk from Copeland; Masters from O'Con- ner-Zedic; - Copeland unassisted; and Till from Gibson. Third period O'Connor from Mas- ters, Attersly, and Copeland unassist- ed, Lindsay goals were netted by O'- Neill from Paker-Truax in the first period. Second period Paker from Crawford, and Graham from Teal, No goals were scored 'by Lindsay in the third 1 period. ---- What To Do About Rural Hockey's Support Quite true the boys do not always display top notch performance but on the other hand there are games that have given the fans present all the thrills of big league games. In as much that they are all boys from right around the immediate district, dnd they put their all into the plays, these are the teams that will supply feeders to our future Junior B teams. It has been brought to the attention of the press that the Rural cjubs are _| greatly in need of fans and it would be very gratifying to 'the hard work- 1% AEA aN ARH a RR Falta Li rs NE SIAL nh i Sts sib Badminton Club On Tuesday, Jan. 26 the "B" groups of the Uxbridge and Port Perry Clubs played at the High School.
