Thursday, Jan. 28-- In the fit'st game of a double header hockey game at Port Perry on the above date the Pt. Perry team were Claremont team, Claremont scored in the first period Wallace in the Claremont nets kept the Fort team off the score sheet. In the second period the Port boys kept pressing and at last were able to register their first goal.. Period end- 'ing 1-1. The third period was hard fought from start to finish with Port Perry registering their second goal of game at the 10 min. mark. Claremont fought back desperately and were able to tie the game with but seconds left to play. Game ending in a 2-2 tie. Uxbridge Merchants in the second game went on a real scoring bee to whip 'Comco team who were playing short-handed by a score of 12-5.
