This week, they assume, tem- porarily, the banner of Whitby Senior "B""s and' before the week-end will take on a Whitby team to become Whitby's only senior hockey 'team to emerge so far, All home games, be- ginning next Saturday night, when the Whitby Senior "B"§ meet the: Corn: wall Colts, will be played in Whitby's new Community Arena. F. J. McIntyre, chairman of the Whitby Arena Board, recently stated that his board were very pleased to welcome this club to the Whitby Are- na. "It has been our intention." he sald, "to provide the sportminded re- sidents of Whitby with top-flight hockey entertainment. The new club, as far as possible, will be using all available genior calibre players on the team", Wren Blair, coach and manager of the Oshawa Truckmen, will continue as coach and manager of Whitby team, he sald, will come into being on Mon- day and before the week's end will take on a distinctive Whitby name.
