The regular meeting of Greenbank W-A. was held in the Church basement on Tuesday, Oct: 8rd at 2.30 p.m. with Mis, W. Bacon Presjding, The meeting opened with Hymn 164, Scripture reading was read by Mrs. E. Till Eph. 4 verses 4-32, followed by Prayer by- Mrs. H. Baylis and the Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs. J. Cooperwaithe gave a very much appreciated topic on the World's Bible ending with a Poem "Make your life a blessing". The collection was taken and Hymn 94 sung. The Vice President Mrs. N, Smith then took over the meeting in the ab- sence of Mrs. lanson, thanking the group in charge. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. Reg, Foster and adopted. Thank you notes were read from the Ianson family, Miss McMsg@ter and John McDonald and Hazel Scott. Irene Baylis thanked the W.A. for the lovely supper served at Helen's wedding, also Mrs. 'Pearson thanked read. The W.A, Rally at Sunderland was to be held on Oct, 4th. A Delegate was to be chosen for Vice President for group 1, Mrs. elected. Moved by: Mrs. Boe, seconded by Mrs. Harper that a blower be installed in the Parsonage. It was decided to withdraw the dnnual fowl supper, but that 'a joiifit entertainment be put on -H. Thomas was | by the W.A, dnd Fidelis'Class. Mrs. Chapin thanked the W.A, for the lovely kitchen dt the Parsonage, also the kindness shown her by the ladies while she was ill. Other items of business were discussed and the meeting then closed with the Theme Song and Mizpah benediction.
