WHEREAS the Council of the vill age of Port Perry hereinafter called the "Corporation", deems it necessary to change the Water (Rates Schedule and provide for a charge for install. ing services. AND WHEREAS the Coridration reserves the right at any time and from time: to time to amend, alter or change the said rates by a by- law duly passed by the Corporation, THEREFORE the Corporation en- acts ag follows:-- (1) That all. non-metered or flat rate water services be considered as full water services, even if only one tap is installed. That a maximum 'charge for a flat rate service per year is $22.00 Gross within the Corpora- tion of Port Perry and (an increase of 20%) or $26.40 Gross outside the Corporation. . Flat service Rates are due and payable half yearly--April 1st and October 1st. the 16th day of the month. (2) That any person having a Do- mestic and Commercial Service must be billed as two separate services and if controlled by one meter, the account must at least equal two minimum| bills, and balance of consumption if any at prevailing rates. (3) That every separate business be billed as a full service, and that any service, where it is deemed advis- able may be metered. (4) That farm services with water 'service -in-both-house.and barn be con-| sidered as two services. (6) Whare water service is supplied to a dwelling, Having more than one family, or a business building having more than one business, one bill shall be rendered for one service multi- plied by the number of household or business units. ~~ If the dwelling is metered then one bill shall be -ren- dered for the minimum charge multi- plied by the number of household units- and the balance of the consumption if any billed at prevailing rates.
