Steel Strike Seen Moving Into Canada TORONTO--A Toronto spokesman for the United Steelworkers of Ameri- ca (CLC) said Wednesday night the Steelworkers strike in the United States may spread to Canada. Commenting on the effects of the strike on Canada, he said 5,000 of 7,- 000 employees at the Steel Company of Canada in Hamilton have said they ave in favor of strike action. The union has been conducting con- tract negotigtions with Stelco and the Dominion Steel and Coal Co. of Syd- ney, N.S, since March 31, when con- tracts expired.
