This committee represents the "Girl Guides from Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Port Hope, Port vening points. It wishes to raise its share of the $127,000 required from all Canada to to prepare and provide for this extra- ordinary event that is taking place for the first time in Canada and on the North American' Continent. . Centenary Camp, honouring the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Founder of Girl Guides and Scouting, Lord Beden-Power, are being held in England, the Phillipines and Canada.
