Kimmerly presided at the thes thei of the Ontario County TB Association, when the September meeting was held at Fern Cottage, Atherley. A film, "Phe Inside Story", was shown by Mrs. J. R, Phillips, Chair- man of TB Education. Mrs. Phillips explained that this and, other films were available to be shown to any Home and School Associations, church groups of Women's Institutes, ete. If they 'would contact Mrs. E, A. Collins, Executive Secretary, she would be pleased to make these arrangements. Health posters, for use in the schools, were displayed. Mrs. J. Low, representative to the Ontario Tuberculosis Association, gave a most interesting and graphic ac- count of the Annual Meeting of the Ontario & Canadian TB Associations. A number of appreciative letters were read from patients in Sanatoria, following receipts of their gift parcels from the Association; and the report of the Rehabiltation Programme was most encouraging, showing the assist- ance being given to many patien The October meeting will be held at "The Sign Post Motel", in Beaver- ton. Several members of our community attended Lindsay Fair last week, but reported a very chilly time. Four members of the Head Farm Forum group attended the banquet given for gecretaries of the Co-opera- tive Insurance Group, which was held at Bagotsville school last Wednesday evening. They reported that a most interesting address concerning a Pro- vince wide Insurance plan, was given by. Dr. M. B. Mr. Braham will be present to meet all of the Head Com- munity who are able to be in attend- ance. Fed. of Agriculture The first of the fall meetings of the Federation of Agriculture in Ontario County, a directors meéting, was held... at the home of John Hamer, Myrtle. The meeting was held to discuss plans for the winter meetings and it was decided that all meetings for the coming season would be held in com- munity halls and would be open to all farmers. The first meeting would be on the first Wednesday in October and would be held in the Myrtle hall. Due to the press of farm work for the President, Mr. Tindall, Mrs, Ha- mer was asked to attend the directors méeting in Toronto, Plans were made for the annual meeting and the secretary was in- structed to write Mr. Goodfellow, Min- ister of Agriculture of the province of Ontario to invite him to be guest speaker at the dinner meeting.
