She told us of her trip to England and the Continent. Her headquarters was at the home of her daughter Joan in Weymouth, Eng. One great surprise for Mrs. Bentley was when her son Da who is in the Navy, called and e a short visit with his mother and i while his ship was docked at Portsmouth. Perhaps the highlight of Mrs. Bent. -| ley's visit was when she had an oppor. tunity to stay at Arundel Castle, one of the homes of the-Duke & Duchess of Norfolk, in Sussex. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were guests of honour among 40-50 guests who were visiting the Castle at the time of the Goodwood Races. The ball in the Baronial Hall of the Castle was an unforgetable scene, Mrs. Bentley had an opportunity to see the Queen quite closely on a num- ber of occassions. Miss L. M. Harris thanked Mrs. Bentley for her word picture tour, Af- ter the #inging of the National An- them and retiring of the Standard the Misses Harris and Mrs. Haugen served coffee and sandwiches-Delici- ous!
