The guests were invited to view the lovely trousseau and the many gifts received. Many good wishes were extended to the bride-elect. Mrs. Lorne Blakely entertained, at her home, the relatives of Joyce and Harold at a shower and tea on Tues- day evening. 'Mr. and Mrs, Geo. Beare and Mr. and Mrs. Reg. Foster left Monday morning on a trip east to take in the new seaway. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Mattice in Ottawa, coming home by way of the U.S.A. they will spend some time in New York-city.
