S. Mitchell. Medd was involved in an accident with Gerald Hergott, RR 1, Port Perry Dec. 28, at about 12.06 a.m, 'at the Shirley sideroad, 2nd concession, west of number 2 county road. The Hergott vehicle was parked at the top of a hill when Medd struck the Tear of this vehicle, : Hergott testified that he had had some trouble with the car. John Greer council for the accused, asked Hergott "is this Shirley side road a lover's lane'?', i Hergott replied, "quite possibly". Mr. Greer said, "did you have a i lady friend with you at the thas of the accident 2" Hergott concluded, "quite true", Medd was hospitalized following thé accident.
