His topic for the morning service was 'God is Great', 'God is Good' and 'God is Here'. He enlarged on the last theme, and reminded us to look around, with trees in bud; grasses greening, and spring flowers poking up their heads, and we would see 'God at, work, The choir at Grace United sang 'Hark the Glad Creation'. At Manchester, 'David Hobbs sang a solo. | j : In the evening, serviie was held at the Head Memorial Church. Rev, Joblin conducted a~short worship ser- vice, and then showed some (interest- ing slides of some of the work in the mission field. Altho' Rev. Joblin confessed he was an amateur in taking pictures, we're 'sure an expert could do no better to capture the beauty in color and scen- ery on these slides. Pictures were shown of the Norway house, and other Mission homes and schools that our churches support. When we see little. Indian children, healthy - and happy, getting some of the priviled- ges in life that our own'children get, in the remotest areas. 8 we can understand why 'this work is 80 rewarding. Beautifully modern hospital and schools are springing up Ladies Aid and Home _and School Clubs 'are being formed{ for the In- dian ladies and are flourishing too. We are. very grateful to Rev, Joblin for taking some of his valuable time, to' come to speak to us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday with him, Mrs. James Wilson and her daugh- ter. Carol sang a lovely duet during the service. : Next Sunday, April 27, the Elders and Stewards will have charge of the service." Mr, and Mrs. Alan Redman had a bad scare Monday night when little Tommy took seriously ill. He is In Oshawa Hospital, and they hope to have him out by the week-end. Braham, and we would like to share it with you: "We arrived here (DeBarry, Flo- rida) last evening, after being held up for five days at Mansfield, Penn. We blew a head gasket as we arrived, and just couldn't get an American gasket to fit. I phoned home on Wednesday and they mailed one right away. And there we were sitting, twiddlying our thumbs until Sunday, and still no gasket. 'The garage man made some adjustments with one we had, and we left Mansfield on Sun- day at about 2.00 p.m, not. knowing just how far «we would get.
