Fairgrieve suggested that the town- ship keep the idea in mind for the]. future, He contended that many of our senior citizens have not accumu- lated a great deal of wealth, but have contributed vastly to the general well- being of their communities and fam- ilies using their earnings to maintain their families in as decent a way as possible, often sacrificing their own comforts to do so. He didn't think it was fair that these people in their twi. light years should be condemned to institution. . IT Mr. Fairgrieeve suggested that homes of a smaller size that the bylaw now calls for could be allowed in these cases and possibly some assistance from all levels of government could be forthcoming to help build them. Reeve Sherman Scott said the letter would be filed and also brought to the attention of the Planning Board. He said that at the moment the township was nat in the financial position to go into such a plan, 'maintenance, heating plant renovatiens, acoustic tiling.
