Dr. Honnisett of Toronto, will be the guest speaker at the Fidelis Class at the evening church service on Sunday, May 3rd. Special music by the choir and a talented musician. Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Ianson, Francis Ianson and Gordon Walker of: Whitby, visited on Sunday with Gordon's par- ents, in Hepworth. We are happy to report that Mr. W. Bacon, is a lot better. Mr. and Mrs. Love, Oshawa, visited with Mrs. Mills on Sunday. Miss Helen Lee of Peterboro was home over the week-end. Helen has changed her job and is now in Toronto. Master Brent and Miss Hilliary We are glad to report that Mr, T. Wallace is improving in health. Manchester (Too late for last week) Fire broke out in the attic of Mr. Al Craig's home here on Saturday evening and was burning briskly when discovered. The fire was confined to the upper story but burned through the roof quite badly. Considerable damage was caused by smoke and water. Port Perry firemen were quickly on the scene and soon had the fire under control. + Congratulations to M. Everett Doupe and Miss Barbara Masters who were married last Saturday, Miss Carrie Cowan, Toronto, was with Mrs. Roach and family over the week-end.
