Christmas Meeting room December 1, with a large attend- ance. President, Mrs. [R. Cornish opened the meeting with the Theme song, and Prayer. The devotional topic, with a Christmas Theme, was taken by Mrs, A. King, assisted by Mrs. L. Wakeford. The minutes were read by Mrs. G. M. Williams, and the Treasurer's re- port was given by Mrs. Chas, Reesor, Mrs. S. Cawker reported a number of cards have been sent to the be- reaved, ill and shut-ins, and asked members to let her know of any ill- ness, ete. Mrs. R, B. Smallman stated 519 calls have been made, up until the end of October. Splendid reports were given by the groups. Those reporting were: Mrs. J. Young, Mrs. O. Jeffrey, Mrs. Geo. Holmes, and Mrs. A. King. Members were pleased to hear the report of the bazaar given by the convener, Mrs, T. Harris. The bazaar was decidedly a success, and the President thanked the committee, and all who had assist- ed in any way. Mrs. S. Griffen briefly outlined the renovating at the par- Mrs. R. Mrs. Linstead read an interesting Christmas story, "The Man who missed Christ- mas", closing with a poem "I do not like a roof to-night." The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
