Hull; 211-=L, Mark. was served following the presentations United Church Service Club The November meeting of the Port Perry United Church Service Club was held on Tuesday, November 24th in the Church basement, Mrs. Gordon Goode was in charge of the meeting in the absence of our president, Mrs. A. Walsh. Mrs. H. Forder opened the devotion- al with a short reading on Happiness. which was the Theme for the evening. We joined in the singing of hymn 480 and Mrs. Forder read the Seripture lesson from Proverbs 15:13-22, Mrs. Goode read a story of Happiness and led us in prayer. Hymn 504 was sung in closing. Minutes of the October meeting were read and approved and roll call was answered by 12 members. In the ab- sence of our treasurer, Mrs. W. Lane, Mrs. R. McNab gave the treasurer's report indicating a very favourable bank balance. Mrs. Goode thanked Mrs. W. Wil- Jliams, Mrs. H. Forder and Mrs. H. Hall for the very capable handling of the W|A. Bazaar tea and also added the President's thanks. - The question of a Life Membership for the W.M.S. was again discussed and it was unanimously decided that this membership be given to Mrs. F. Crawford. Mrs. B. Beare gave a report for the nominating committee and stated that all the offices had been accepted so we did not require a vote. President .........oo....
