Licences will be renewed on motor- ists' birthdays, thus eliminating the need to apply for renewals between January and mid-March each year. It may be possible to start the system for first-time applicants in October of next year, the Department states. The three-year system will apply only to drivers' licences and not to vehicle registration plates. Prince Albert Besides the usual Christmas wish, For Joy and Fun and Cheer-- Here's an extra wish for you all-- Stay happy all the year! Those who attended Church on Sun- day thoroughly enjoyed Mr, Linstead's Christmas message. A sweet violin number by Mr, B. Snelgrove was most appreciated, accompanied by organist Mrs. Snelgrove. At Sunday School a healthy supply of white gifts arrived to be used for the needy. Mrs, E. Martyn gave a typical story in keeping with the Mrs. E. Yes, parents and grandparents were present to admire their little Billie or Susan share in the program: Our minister Rev. E. S. Linstead capably acted as chairman, welcomed every- one and got the party away to a start shortly after eight bells. Program consisted of well staged dialogues, lively dances and drills and cute recitations from various classes, even the bible class contributed an item. Every number deserved fav- ourable comment. , 'The chairman 'called on 8.8, Supt. E. Martyn who described the attendance roll of different classes. Much liberal credit are due the patient trainers and several individuals res- ponsible for the successful evening. Sunday was a special occasion for the 'Hunter clan.
