Thirty members, ladies and guests enjoyed a gala even- ing watching their bowls on strikes, spares, odd counts, taking the head pin out, blows and gutter balls. Each year 'this event gets bigger & bigger. The first time we had but two alleys now it has grown till we use 6 alleys. Junior Farmers Tour Area A large group of Ontario County Junior Farmers and Junior Institute members enjoyed a tour by car of the Uxbridge and Beaverton areas on Sun- day, May 16th. ' The tour. included a visit to the Thomas Foster Memorial Temple, Uxbridge, Dunrobin and Elmeroft Farms, Beaverton; The Old Stone Church, Beaverton and a drive along the Lake Simcoe shore at Beaverton. The tour concluded with a weiner roast and picnic supper at a roadside park near Beaverton, The special guest on the tour was Mr, Alexander Braid, Scottish Young Farmer from Kinross, Scotland; who is- now visiting in Ontario County. The Ontario County Junior Farm- er's Association will hold, a Spring Get-Together and Play Party in the Township Hall, Brooklin, on Satur- day, May 21st, at 8.80 p.m. Frank Barkey, Jeanne Pearson and Cloyne Stearman are the committee members in charge of the programme. -All interested rural young men and women are urged to keep this date in mind and attend on Saturday, May 21st.
