"We have a small amount of paving to be done at the Hospital, and won- dered if at some time when work is being done for the town, it would be possible to have this work completed at the same time. B. Snell of Toronto spoke of the Ang- lican Congress to be held in Toronto in August. The Annual Corporate Communion of the Women's Auxiliary was solem- nized in St. John's Church, Sunday morning. This being the Sunday nearest St. Andrew's Day. Canon Patterson, Weston, conducted the ser- vice. Beautiful flowers on the alter were in memory of members who have passed on. There was a good congregation attended. In the United Church the follow- ing were received into membership-- Carol Blyth; Sharon Larmer; Carol Rahm; Paul Rahm; Douglas Metcalf and Ronald Martyn. The choir sang the Anthem "The Will of God". Rev. Romeril took as the subject of his sermon 'The Brightest Star of the Morning". The Town and Country Club met Saturday evening for their Christmas party. Approximately 30 attended.
