Commissioner Mrs. Har- old Kyte opened the meeting, and reports were heard from| Brown Owl Mrs. Roy Turner on Holiday, it was interesting to note that this year's Pack Holi- day cost $20 more than the identical Pack Holiday held 5 years ago. Brown Owl also re- ported that 10 service stars and 46 badges had been earned, and that several Tweenies were ex- pected to join when Brownies start on Sept. 23rd. Capt. Mrs Ivan Thompson re- ported that the Guide camp this year was enjoyed by all, and] that 12 new Guides were expect- ed to join; Guides will also start Sept. 23rd. Several of our Guides are in- terested in joining the Guider Cadets in preparation to be- come Guiders. Lynda Kyte, Joan Suggitt are going to help with the Brownies and Mrs. Gordon Paisley and Janice Byers are helping with the Guides, Our.
