(Federated Women Teachers Association of Ont- ario) was held in the Recrea- tion' Centre Blackstock, Thurs- day, October 11th. Sixty-two teachers from Man- vers, North Darlington, South Darlington, Bowmanville and Cartwright attended. Mr. McKinney and Mr. Emery of Peterboro Teachers College were guest speakers, Mr. McKinney led in a sing | song and Mr. Emery gave a Primary P.T. Demonstration. A delicious Hot roast beef | supper was served by the O.N.O. Club. A good congregation enjoyed the inspiring Thanksgiving ser- mon delivered by Canon Ash- more in St. John's Church Sun- day morning. There was no service in the United Church due to North Nestleton anniversary, where Rev. J. E.
