Mr. Roy Cornish, a nominee for Council thanked his nomin- ators and stated that in a year or two he might be interested in a council seat but at this time his present position as principal of the public school demanded all his time, and that he would not be able to let his name stand. Mr. Orten Michie, the remain- ing nominee for Council stated that he was interested in council work and the town.
