Take the members of a local Service Club and put them in the traditionally decorated ILe-| gion Hall--add the wives of the members, together with a good- 'ly number of local guests and one has the annual Christmas Party of the Port Perry Lions Club. : A beautiful meal, which could hardly be excelled in Toronto, was served by the Ladies of the Port Perry Legion, who ob- viously are now professionals in this endeavour. Mr. John Orde, an up and coming member of the Port Perry Council, thrilled the meeting by his playing of a magnificent organ, of which John is the proud owner. A friendly game of bingo oc- cupied part of the evening, with Lion Irv. Boyd acting as the caller. Usually, speeches are heavy and lengthy at meetings of this sort, but addresses were kept to a minimum and the evening was one of total gaiety.
