Mr. Bert Gibson, Reeve acted as M.C. Brief speeches were made by Council members. Mrs, Charles Smith presented Hector and Mae with a pole lamp and table. Hector made a very suitable "thank you" re- ply. The Shortridges have re-| tired from caring for the two Halls in Blackstock, after 17 years of work with Community Hall and eight years with Re- creation Centre. A pleasant Social -hour was enjoyed. Delegates have had the op- portunity to share viewpoints in group discussions, hear ex- perts in the various area of al- cohol education and participate in a field trip to the Salvation Army's Harbour Light Clinic for alcoholics in Toronto's Skid Row area and also attend an A.A. meeting.
