Ashton, Beth and Alan, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ashton, Miss Joyce Strong and Mr. Kenneth Catherwood were guests at the home of Mr. and | Mrs, Barry Bushell of Oshawa on Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs, Raymond Ed- wards and sons visited her par- ents Mr. and Mrs. John Crozier of Toronto for a few days dur- ing the Christmas vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Munro and family visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Graham of Wick on Boxing Day. Mr. James Clarke and Dr. Pat Asling visited Mrs. Lacey and family of Oak Ridges last Tues- day. Mr. and Mrs. John Millman and John called on Mr, and Mrs. Frank Millman of Richvale one day last week. The day before Christmas Mr. and Mrs. Harley Clarke vi- sited her parents Mr. and Mrs. T. Stewart. The day after Christmas Mr. and Mrs. Louis Palmer of Peterborough visited with the Stewarts. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards held Open House at the parsonage last Friday, All who attended had a very enjoyable time with this congenial couple who now occupy our manse. Mr. and Mrs. John Millman and sons visited with Mr. and Mrs. F. Wilgus on Saturday. We are sorry to learn that Mrs. Will Evans is in Uxbridge Hospital and wish her a speedy recovery. We were pleased to learn that Mr. John Preece was able to return home from hospital in time for Christmas. Also Mrs. E. McKnight was able to come home for Christ- mas but has to return to the hospital for awhile. It is near- ly a year since Mrs. McKnight was admitted to hospital. We hope the ordeal will soon be over and she will be returned to health. . Mrs. Viall and Richard of Rochester are visiting with Mr. and Mrs, Ross Evans for a few | days. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson entertained several young coup- les in_the vicinity one evening last week. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson and families were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs, J. P. Wilson of Uxbridge. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kerry, Greenbank, Mr. and Mrs. Wal- ter Kerry, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Cottyn and families were din- ner guests on Christmas Day at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Herman Kerry. : Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Moore and children of Oshawa visited Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jeffery on Christmas Day. Miss Marjorie Bailey of Whitby and Mrs. Wm, Jeffrey _ of Port Perry were Christmas visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Bailey. Miss Joyce Wilson spent the week-end with Miss Lexie Love | of Prince Albert. Mr. and Mrs. David Prentice visited for several days last week with Mr. and Mrs, Len Beach in Orillia. On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Roy Asling and family of Rock- Croft visited Mr. and Mrs, Don ald Asling, Christina and Shar- on stayed to visit their cousins for a few days.
