The minutes of the last an- nual meeting were read and it was moved by Fred Christie, seconded by C. Vernon, that the minutes be adopted as read. Dr. Christie spoke briefly and thanked the members for the support given him as President during the past year. The correspondence was read and discussed. It was moved by C. Vernon, seconded by H. Honey that we give $10. to the Crop Improvement Association. The Financial Statement was presented by the Treasurer and then the President read the Auditors' report. It was moved by A. McMillan, seconded by C. Carter, that the Financial State- ment be accepted. Carried. It was moved by H. Honey, sec- onded by H. Kerry that the Auditors' report be accepted. Carried. The Prize Money in the La- dies' Division was commented on and it was recommended that a suggestion be made to the 1964 Directors to increase the Prize Money in this section. Kerry, that, be- cause of the changing condi- tions, the new Directors look! into the matter of membership fees. The Secretary reported on the District Meetings and of the use some Fairs make of Junior Farmers as Auxiliary Police. In future there will be only one District meeting and it will be held in the Fall. A Field Crop Competition was spoken of and left for the new Directors .to consider. It was moved by C. Vernon that we pay our affiliation fee. The program for 1964 was discussed with suggestions be- ing made to wire the office and the Junior Fair Building. It was also suggested that more wire fence be erected along the front of the grandstand. It was moved by C. Vernon, seconded by F. Christie, that the Secretary and his assistant, with any others who could, at- tend the convention. It was moved by A. McMil- lan, seconded by C, Carter, that we appoint N. Heayn and R. Walker as auditors for 1964. It was moved by C. Vernon, seconded by H. Kerry, that we increase our number of Direct- ors to 24. p It was moved by C. Carter, seconded by H. Kerry, that the 1963 Directors be re-elected with the addition of Neil Hun- ter. It was moved by C. Carter, seconded by F. Christie that the meeting adjourn.- PORT PERRY STAR, THURS., FEB. 6th, 1964--8 At a Directors' meeting fol- lowing the Annual Meeting the following officers were elected for 1964. President--Frank Honey 1st Vice President-- Clarence Carter 2nd Vice President-- Clare Vernon Sec'y-Treas.--Fred Lamb Greenbank UCW (Too late for last week) The annual meeting of the Greenbank U.C.W. was held in the Church basement on Tues- day evening, The meeting call- ed to order with piano selection from pianist Mrs: E. Phair. The president Mrs. A. Em- pringham opened the meeting with selection of scripture fol- lowed with prayer. Hymn "Standing at the Portal" was sung. Mrs. Robert Leask read scripture from the First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, 13th Chapter with thoughts com- prising to "Spiritual Gifts", these are nothing without Char- ity. Mrs. H. Phoenix led in prayer. Mrs. Harris gave an inspiring message on "The Master Key to Life", we must have Faith to advance spiritually through life and to trust the unfaithful. To take faith out of Interna- tional Policy we will have wars. The worship service closed with hymn "Faith of Our Fa- thers". "Rev.
