Win Team Contest On Saturday, February 15th, the Ontario' County Seed Judg- ing Competition was held in the Port Perry High School, with a total of 43 contesetants During the morning prog- ramme, contestants were re- quired to judge classes of cer- eal grains, small seeds, hay, corn silage, and identify weeds, plant specimens and crop seeds. During the afternoon program- me, the contestants were re- quired to give oral reasons on four of the six classes judged in the morning. The high contestant in the competition was David St.Pierre of Claremont, with a .total of 633 points out of a possible 700. David won the Russell Morrison Trophy for the high contestant in the Junior Section for the fourth consecutive time.
