Since it was "Hockey Night in Canada" it was not hard to entertain the men of the party and some of the ladies proved to be hockey fans too. The dining-room table was arranged in true birthday style, with candles, fancy cloth and cake, and 'lunch was served. A sister in New Zealand had remembered Reg. with a birth- day card and letter which ar- rived on the 29th, Also a letter and wedding picture from his son Barry and his bride in Cal- gary.
