The Explorers had their usual opening ceremony and reading of the Log. The former chapters of the 'Golden Coin" were reviewed then, Miss Donna McLaughlin read the concluding chapter. Joanne Ballingall, Lin- da McLaughlin, Laurie Turner .and Leanne Dorrell gave the Worship. Chief Explorer declar- ed Exploration finished. The Messengers talked about the film. Roll Call was, "What Easter means to me". Mrs. Ferguson explained some things about Easter and the origin of Easter Eggs, bunnies, ete, Elizabeth Thompson read. a story, "Billy's Easter Bunny." Indian and Easter games were played. Thursday being Maundy Day in St. John's church the Sacra- ment of Holy Communion was administered at the service that evening. On Friday morning the customary prayer service was held. Sunday morning there was a good attendance for the Easter service. Canon Ashmore spoke on the Collect for Easter and administered the Sacrament of Holy Communion. As well as an Easter Lily, there were flor- al tokens in memory of Will- iam Taylor, also David and Ronald Archer. In the United Church Good Friday evening, Rev. Philip Romeril spoke on "Washing our hands of Responsibility." The choir sang an anthem, "That's Where Jesus Died." Sunday morning many chairs had to be placed to accomodate the large congregation. The choir sang two anthems, "God so loved the world", and "Now Christ Liveth." The sacrament of Holy Communion was admin- istered. Decorating the church were flowers in memory of William Taylor, and an Easter Lily. Mr. and Mrs. Harry De La- Matter, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hitchman, Toronto, and Mr. Jack De La Matter of Stouff- ville were Wednesday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Pearce and Mrs. Geo. Crawford. Misses Gertrude Henry and Doris Griffin spent the week- end at home. Corporal and Mrs. J. K.
