The film featured the spec- | |] | tacular assemblies of Jehovah's witnesses held around the globe last summer. In addition, each | locale of these mammoth gath- erings was spotlighted to show how it has been affected by what the Watch Tower Society calls false religion. False religion, the movie showed, started in ancient Baby- lon with Nimrod and then spread to embrace the world. Even countries belonging to Christ- endom were shown to be tainted by Babylonian worship. Over 500 witnesses were able to fly to the different assemb- lies making it a world tour for themselves. And since they were the largest group ever to visit Korea they were given an official red - carpet there. Commencing with the assem- bly at Milwaukee, June 30, the around the world tour took dele- gates successively to New York then to assembly centres in London, Stockholm, Milan, Mu-! nich and Athens. Next in line were assemblies and tours in! India and Thailand. i At Thailand the delegates di- | vided into two groups, one group visited Singapore, Indo- nesia, Australia, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands, while the other group took in teeming Hong Kong, Manilla, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. At Hawaii the two parties came together. After the con- clusion of the assembly there, they headed for the final one at Pasadena, California. The total attendance at all the gatherings was estimated at 580,000. The purpose of the film is to promote a deeper study of the Bible as the means of gain- ing everlasting life, said J. Mac- welcome Pherson, district representative of the Watch Tower Society. Commenting further, he said, "The proper choice between true and false religion determines the way to life", "And the issue for all living will be decided in this generation," he added. Obviously impressed by the film, the audience clapped re- soundingly after viewing it.
