Gordon Collins were pleased to welcome more of their children in the parental home namely: (Evelyn) Mr. and Mrs. Bohun- icky and children of Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Don Collins of Toronto and (Shirley) Mr. and Mrs. Jim Grieves of Blackstock. At the recent Head U.C.W. meeting we were sorry not to have Mrs. Reta Rodman pre- sent with her travelogue of Florida but we did enjoy the films shown by Mr. Toombs on the Colombo Plan, began on ac- count of the destitution of heav- ily populated countries and car- ried to others in need, We also enjoyed a coloured film of New Zealand. It was a revelation to many to find scenery similar to our own but especially the difference of boiling pools of mud and clouds of steam on sections of the North Island. We are indeed pleased to hear of the baseball teams that have been organized on Scugog. There is great interest among the young people and we under- stand 3 teams are ready to get into the game. Much credit is due to Mr. Don Ashbridge for his advice and encouragement. Recent visitors with Mr, and Mrs. C. Fralick Sr., were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Ross, Toronto, LAWN-BOY WITH FINGER-TIP START EASIEST STARTING POWER MOWER ENGINE IN THE WORLD Crest Hardware 221 PHONE 9 ~ PORT PERRY FRIDAY, MAY 22nd 'Teens Of All Ages { DANCE | To "Dave And The Pyramids" At SUN VALLEY PAVILION SEAGRAVE MAKE UP A PARTY OR COME ALONE 9:00 P.M.
