President Mrs. N. Malcolm extended a hearty welcome to all visiting friends and opened the meeting with a poem-- "Open Your Hands". The Dor- cas unit then took over and an interesting and informative worship on "East-West Encoun- ter" was given by Mrs. Walter Wright and Ms, Lloyd Wright during which a Primitive Christians was read, A couple of passages of Serip- ture, two hymns sung, Some Indian Conversations told, pray- er offered, offering received & dedicated. President then conducted the business before which she ask- ed all members to repeat the Purpose in unison. Roll was called, reports of Secretary, Treasurer, unit leaders, parson- age committee, supply and pro- gram committee were received. Decided that U.C.W. pay for the Bibles and Hymn Books who joined the church Sunday. A few other events to come up during the summer were mentioned and committees appointed to look after them, One of which is the church picnic June 25th. Mrs. Harold Kyte led a sing song when "Hallelujah Praise the Lord" was practised. Mrs. Stanford Van Camp read the Commentary which Miss Doreen Van 'Camp had written and sent home with the pictures she had taken in and around Indore.
