Quiet music by Mrs. Phair preceded the call to worship by Mrs. Mero "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof", Mrs. Baylis led in prayer fol- lowed by the Lord's Prayer in unison. > We sang Hymn 589 "This is my Father's World". Mrs. Phoenix reviewed an- other chapter of our study book "The Christian Contribution to Nation Building in South Asia". followed by prayer. We sang Hymn 15 "For the Beauty of the Earth". The de- votonal closed with a prayer by Mrs. Mero, Mrs. Phoenix presided for the business portion part of our meeting, first thanking the group in charge. The minutes visits reported and cards sent to sick, Mrs. Beare reported on service centres for Indian resi- dents, Toronto centre especially. Invitations were received to Port Perry June 9, 8.15 p.m., to Scugog, June 11, 2-4 p.m., to the Victor Home Garden Party on June 10. Application was sent to send a delegate to the school of United Church Women held in Albert College, Belleville, July 20-23. The Fidelis Unit invited the afternoon group to attend their meeting June 3, 8.15 to see a film of the Holy Land hy Miss Betty Leask.
