Hunter shared their home when their daughter Beth with the assistance of Mrs. Jas. Ballingall planned a miscellane- ous shower in honour of Miss Marion Couch a future bride-to- be. The group of girl friends and class mates were welcomed into the suitably decorated liv- ing-room. The bride elect was filled with enthusiasm as she unwrapped each parcel for which she thanked warmly, A dainty lunch was served blend- ed with sociability and well wishes to Marion. Congratulations to Miss Ina Keizibrink who was among the thirty-eight graduates of '64 nursing class of Oshawa Gen- eral Hospital. The following from our midst who were guests at the enjoyable Graduation Exercises included Ina's father Mr. John Keizibrink, a brother Mr. and Mrs. Herman Keizi- brink, Mr. and Mrs. A. Martyn, Miss Mildred Martyn and Mr. and Mrs. L. Beacock. The Keizibrink family at- tended various other functions in connection with this memor- able occasion. . On Saturday Mrs. N. Rensink attended the luncheon and evening dinner for the ten year graduating nurses of 1954 in Kinsman Hall, Oshawa. Her husband Mr. Rensink attended the dance too at night in the same hall. Mrs. G. Hunter, Mrs. E, Mar- tyn, Mrs. J. Holtby, Mrs. E. Holtby, Mrs. L. Beacock ac- companied Mrs. H. Holtby when all attended the Dessert Lun- cheon and speaker Mrs, Betty Kennedy at Blackstock. Mr. and Mrs. B. Snelgrove were guests at the Gibson- Snelgrove church wedding on Saturday in Sarnia. Their daughter Jean being one of the bridesmaids. Mr. and Mrs. N. Wilson at- tended the presentation party in Prospect school Saturday night in honour of the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs, Harvey Dearborn, Mr. Clarence Jeffrey of Re- gina, Sask., visited at the homes of his brother Frank, Albert and Howard. Miss Nola Hunter and friend Mr. Karl Kyrytow both of Tor- onto spent the week-end with Nola's parents Mr. and Mrs. L. Hunter.
