Saturday, June 27th Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Bradburn, Toronto were pleasantly surprised when on accepting an invitation to spend the night with the Joe Bradburns and remain for De- coration Service Sunday. On arrival they found most of the Bradburn families already ga- thered there ready to celebrate Lorne and Helen's 25th wedding anniversary. A very pleasant social evening was spent and the honoured couple were the recipients of a lovely silver cas- serole, servers, salt & peppers, ete. Sunday morning in the United Church, Rev. P. Romeril based his sermon on 'A Door of Hope'. Mr, Stuart Dorrell sang a solo "My Task". Holy Communion was administered. In the evening the Orange Lodge Parade was held with service in the United Church. At this service Nestleton Junior Choir sang two fine numbers: "Beside Green Pastures" and "He shall Feed His Flock". Rev. P. Romeril delivered an impres- sive sermon from - the text "Onto Him Who Loved us and loosed us from our sins". ! Sacrament of Holy. Com- munion was administered in the Anglican Church Sunday morn- ing also. Canon Ashmore de- livered a fine sermon as usual.
