Linda June Bray, Murray Elford Married In Baptist Church Here A very pretty wedding was solemnized in Port Perry Bap- tist Church recently when Linda June eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart. Bray was united in marriage to Murray Merrill Elford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Elford of Port Perry. Rev. R. H. Love of Raglan United Church officiated at the ceremony assisted by Pastor J. H. Brown of Port Perry Bap- tist Church. The wedding music was played by Mrs. D. Rice of Port Perry. The bride, who was given ind marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white Chantilly lace over taffeta. The fitted bodice was designed with a scalloped square neckline with sequin trim and long lily point sleeves. The skirt gathered in soft folds at the waistline fell into a very full bouffant skirt. Her three-quarter length bouf- fant tulle veil was held in place with a erown of pearls and or- ange blossoms. She carried a cascade bouquet of red sweet- heart roses and white Fugi mums. The maid of honour was Miss Donna Sutcliffe of Utica and the bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Mrs. James Dayes and Miss Nancy Bray of Raglan. The bridal attendants were gowned alike in sky blue silk organza over taffeta. The street length sheath styled dresses were styled with round neck- lines and .elbow length sleeves with an overskirt of sheer or- ganza bordered by flowers and leaves appliqued in matching tones. Their headdresses were wedding ring bands of sky blue organza and taffeta trimmed with seed pearls and organza petals of blending tones. Their accessories were in the same shade, . They carried cascade bouquets of yellow mums with a touch of white. The little flower girls were Marlene and Barbara Bray, sis- ters of the bride. They wore identical dresses of delicate em- broidered white chiffon with sky blue sash. Their accessories were in white. Their only jewellry was a sterling silver locket, a gift from the bride. They carried baskets of yellow, white and blue pinochio mums. Their headdresses were ban- deaus of organza and taffeta trimmed with tiny sky blue flowers. Mr. Don Elford, brother of the groom was best man. The ushers were Mr. Albert Sut- cliffe of Utica and Mr. Ray Whitaker of Oshawa. A reception was held in the Christian Education Building of Raglan United Church. The bride's mother received in a gown of deep turquoise 'French lace over taffeta with matching shoe, a white wide brimmed Rayon straw hat and! white elbow length gloves. Her | corsage was pink rosebuds. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue eyelet batiste gown, pink organza pillbox hat and pink accessories. Her corsage was pink carnations. For the wedding trip to points east the bride chose a two piece pale blue linen en- semble, consisting of a sheath and matching three - quarter coat. She wore a cloche hat of white straw and organza and white accessories, Her corsage was a pink cymbidium orchid. The couple left for a wedding trip to the Poconos following a reception at Cedar Garden for one hundred and fifty guests. The bride, a graduate of Ca- thedral High School ,is a sec- retary with the state treasurer's office. Her husband, a graduate of Trenton Central High School, is employed by the General Electric Co. in Trenton, N.J. . The bride is the granddaugh- ter of the late John J.
