Redman, Mr, and Mrs, Clifford Redman and boys, Mr, and Mrs. Allan Carter and family motored to Bobcay- geon and worshipped in one of Rev. Braham's two successive services, They also enjoyed a barbecue dinner with Brahams in the park. Mr. and Mrs, Reg. Jones of St. Catharines visited on Mon- day at the home of the Mrs. 'Thos. Redman, the former's sister. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carter and family are on a motor trip to the West. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Heayn and boys have travelled east for a holiday. Some Scugog reridents will remember Mrs. Eddie Redman who was the wife of Mr. Thos. Redman's brother. Word has been received that she passed on recently in her 91st year. She had made her home recent- ly with her son, Clarence and his family. Congratulations to Mr. Aldred Sr. on his ninetieth birthday. Mr. and Mrs, H. Matthews spent last Wednesday in Tor- onto. Port Perry United Church Women Enjoy Picnic At Orillia Park A pleasant outing was enjoy- ed by thirty seven members of the Port Perry United Church Women when two units com- bined together and held a pic- nic. It proved to be an out- standing all day session. Journeying by bus to Orillia Park for a pot luck luncheon and an afternoon of sports, then proceeding to Barrie for a shopping tour of one of the new plazas and stopping over at the Kentucky Chicken Barbecue for dinner. The homeward trip was made around the lake and re- turning by way of Thornhill, following Highway #7. The entertainment of games, etc. was in charge of the two leaders of unit 4 and 2, Mrs. George Hall and Mrs. Ernest Healey and their committees.
