Mrs. Allen Rowe and Mrs. Brian Rowe, Newcastle, were hostesses for a cup and saucer shower, and a kitchen shower was given by Mrs. Bob Brown of Newtonville. The first meeting will be held in the Township Hall, Brooklin, Saturday morn- 12, at 9.15 a.m. The next unit will be, "The Club Girl Entertains". The members of the Club held a combined reunion and shower recently at the home of Mrs. Merv, Bird. Many former members and leaders were pre- sent and table lamps were pre- sented to Lois and Marilyn Downey on behalf of the 4-H members. N estleton United For Marriage Of On Saturday, August 15th, a wedding of interest took place in Nestleton United Church, when Glenda Margaret Wilson, daughter of Alan E. Wilson was united in marriage with Lloyd Archibald Wilson, son of Mr. David A. Wilson, all of Nestle- ton, Rev. P, Romeril performed the ceremony and wedding mu- sic was supplied by Miss Cheryl Metcalf. Mrs. Lawrence Mal- colm rendered solo selections. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father and wore white sheer organza over taf- feta. Her wedding gown was embroidegéd with lace & pearls with fitted bodice, corded waist« line and lily point sleeves. The skirt was appliqued with lace panel and a flowing train caught by a large rose to the lower bustle back. Her veil was bouffant of silk illusion held by a dainty cup-like crown of pearls. The bride was attended by Mrs. Robert Kellar of Colum- bus and Miss Suzanne Wilson of Nestleton as bridesmaids in Church Setting Nestleton Couple identical mint green silk or- ganza over taffeta. The mat- ron of honour was Mrs, Larry Ashton of Oshawa; flower girl Miss Wendy Wilson of Brook- lin and Master Dale McQuade was ring-bearer. The bride's mother chose blue silk crepe with white acces- sories and her corsage was pink and white carnations. The mo- ther of the groom wore pink crepe with matching accessories and also deep pink carnations. The best man was Mr. Larry Ashton of Oshawa and ushers Robert Kellar of Columbus and Mr. Bill Wilson, Toronto. The wedding reception was held at the Royal Canadian Le- gion Hall, Bay Street, Port Perry.
