Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hunter were guests of friends at Chat- ham during the week-end. Mrs. Don McKean and boys accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Ruby Cook enjoyed a motor trip to Eastern points recently. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cookman and girls attended the Ex. on Saturday then motored to Ham- ilton for the remainder of the of the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Beer of Whitby and Mrs. Bill Beer were vis- itors at our church on Sunday morning. Rev. and Mrs. D. Pilkey and family have returned to their home in Montreal after spend- ing a few holidays with the S. Foster family. Mr. John Somerville has re- turned from a 28-day European tour and reports a wonderful trip. Greenbank friends of Mrs. Harry Phoenix will be pleased to hear that she in now a patient in the Hillcrest Conval- {escent Hospital where she is taking therapy treatments and improving nicely. She travels on crutches or in a wheel chair so is making progress. We are also pleased to report that Mr. Thos.
