( Continued next week) Wedding PHILLIPS - LAROCQUE On Saturday afternoon, Sept. 5th, at 2 p.m. the Port Perry United Church was the scenc of the wedding of Carol Shiela Larocque and John Wesley Phillips. The bride is the third dau- ghter of Mr. and Mrs, Victor G. Larocque of R.R. 2, Port Perry and the groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Phil- lips of Uxbridge. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alec G. Rice, B.A. The bride wore a floor-length white gown of lace over satin. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white baby mums. Mrs. Wm. Murray was her at- tendant. She wore a street length gold satin dress and car- ried a bouquet of rust mums. Mr. Wm. Murray was the best man. The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V. Larocque. Mrs. Larocque re- ceived her guests in a two-piece turquoise dress with white ac- cessories. Her corsage was baby mums. The groom's mother as- sisted and she wore a blue dress with beige accessories. The wedding supper was held at the Nightingale Restaurant at 5 p.m. For the wedding trip to Lon- don and points west the bride wore a teale blue suit. On their return they will reside in Rag- lan, Ont. Guests were present from Magnetawan, Forest, Toronto, Oshawa, Uxbridge, Manchester, Raglan, Port Perry, and Cedar Creek.
