L. A, Bourque, officiating. Mrs. Rheal Larocque and Mr. Hubert D. Trudel, sang during the ceremony. Mr. Paul Emile | Viau played the wedding music. Standards of blue and mauve flowers, and candelabra were used to decorate the church, The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother-in-law Mr. Albert S. Lauzon, was in a floor length gown of white silk Claudette Poirier Weds Arthur organza over taffeta. The gown was fashioned with an empire bodice of guipure lace edged with crystal drops and having a bateau neckline, brief sleeves and a bell shaped skirt with back fullness falling into a chapel length train. length veil of tulle illusion was held by a matching guipure lace pill box and she carried a bou- quet of gardenias. Mrs. Gilles Lefebvre, the bride's niece as matron of hon- our and Miss Georgia Brock, the bridegroom's sister as attend- ant, were in floor length gowns of white silk organza over taf- feta with re-embroidered gar- lands of blue flowers. The gowns were fashioned with fit- ted bodice, having jewel neck- Her floor : lines, cap sleeves and bell shap- ed skirts enhanced by blue vel- vet waist bands and back bows. They wore blue organza head- dresses with back veiling and carried sprays of pink & white baby carnations. Little Miss Lynne Poirier, tke bride's niece as flower girl was in a bouffant frock of white silk organza over taffe- ta, having a jewel neckline and a blue velvet sash and bow. She wore a blue head band and bow and carried a basket of tiny carnations. Dr. John Young was best man and the ushers were Gerald Poirier, brother of the bride, Gilles Lefebvre a nephew and John Brock, Frederick Brock, Douglas Brock cousins of the 'William Brock groom. Mrs. Albert S. Lauzon, sister of the bride was in a blue chif- fon gown. She wore a match- ing draped hat, white accessor- ies and a corsage of pink or- chids. Mrs. Brock, mother of the groom was in a beige silk and lace dress with a matching veiled hat, bone accessories and a corsage of green orchids. For travelling the bride chose a yellow linen frock with sleeveless jacket, white organ- za picture hat, white accessor- ies and a corsage of white or- chids. The couple left for Marville, France, where they will teach in the Can. Armed Forces High School. Obituary- MARGARET CASSIDY Mrs. Margaret Donahoe Cas- sidy of 301 West State Street, | Trenton, N.J., died at Mercer. Hospital recently after being stricken with a heart attack at Maurice Kelliher of 417 North Hermitage Avenue. Mrs. Cassidy was born in Trenton, She was a member of the Mount Carmel Guild and the Altar Rosary Society of St. Marys Cathedral. Mrs. Cassidy was the widow of John J. Cassidy. She also is survived by a brother, John J. Donahoe of Trenton, three grandchildren and one great- grandchild; several nieces and nephews.' Funeral services were held from the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 149 Warren St. A. solemn requiem mass was held at St. Mary's Cathedral. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Cassidy is a sister-in- law of Miss Veronica Cassidy of Simcoe St., Port Perry.
