Grade Eleven seem- ed to have the edge over the other Grades because the first five winners in the race were in Grade Eleven. Graham Powell cross- ed the goal line for Port Perry's anly touch down. The Sutton boys later scored and tied the score, where it remained 6 to 6. The big news of the week iis our annual Magazine Cam- paign. I think that "Ella" has finally found a permanent res- idence and that being the home room of 12A. Congraulations to all. Donna Hayes, the seller of $127.95 will take home with her the beautiful A.M. F.M. radio. Donna deserves a great deal of credit for her achievement. Last Thursday, the Junior Football team played host to the Sutton team and defeated them 10-6. Bill Beare crossed the goal line for Port Perry's only touchdown. Don Spence kicked a convert and a field goal for Port Perry. Chris Dow- son intrcepted the pass which Sutton. Because the boys de- feated Sutton they will now enter the play-offs. These boys have been undefeated .and de- serve much credit. The Senior boys travelled to Sutton Friday afternoon and were defeated by their hosts 31-7. Roger Pickard scored Port Perry's only touchdown on the first play of the game. However, they were unable to hold their lead and the Sutton boys literally took over. 4H Homemakers Attend Meefing The evening of Oct. 21st, 16 girls, two leaders and one guest Joan McGill, gathered at Mrs. Brant's to hold the sixth 4-H meeting. The meeting opened by re- peating the 4-H pledge with Janice Williams in charge of the meeting.
