Thompson. While he had been in failing health for some time, the end came rather un- expectedly on Thurs. morning. We extend our sincere sympa- thies to the sorrowing relatives. Mr. Thompson was in his. 87th year and a world war I veter- an of the British army. After his discharge the Thompsons came to Canada and have lived in this community about 25 years. Fortunately Mr. and Mus. Vincent of Montreal, brother-in- law and sister of Mrs, Thomp- son, were visiting them at the time of Mr. Thompson's death. Mrs. Thompson plans to return with them to Montreal for the winter. On Sunday, Nov. 22nd Mr. & Mrs. O. J. Boe attended a birth- day party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Boe, Beaver- ton, in honour of their mother Mrs, Maude Boe.
