The Roll Call, "A Christmas Memory," recalled many happy memories. The correspondence was read, and it was decided to get some spoons of the Province of Ont- ario, to have for sale. Mrs. Honey, Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Bassant were appointed to look after the Xmas Boxes for the "Shut-ins", Mrs. Sam Cawker donated a hand-hooked rug to the W.I, tickets on' this will be on sale early in the new year. Mrs, Betty Reader then gave a very inter- esting talk on Christmas Cus- toms in other lands, Italy, Aus- tria, Sweden and the Nether- lands, Mrs, Paterson, Mrs. Williams and Mrs. MecPhaden then sang. This was very much enjoyed by all. Carol Singing with Mrs. Tremeer at the piano followed. Each lady was hand- ed a serviette with a (Christmas Carol printed on it and groups with the same carol had to stand up and sing, this caused much merriment. There were two surprise packages, one for the lucky choir, won by Mrs. L. Leahy, the other for the lady with the birthday nearest Christmas won by Miss M. Mec- Laren. A social hour followed, The tea table was decorated with Christmas Tablecloth and the program for the meeting.
