A meeting was held for members in the Hall Wednesday November 28th. Business was discussed with President Mrs. Chapman occupying the chair, Our Club is progressing nicely. Our next event is the Turkey dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 6.30 p.m, Numerous pre- parations are being made. All committees are very busy as it takes a lot of planning and work to prepare and everyone is dig- ging in to make it a joyous event. There will be a good program of music and recita- tions. Last year's turkey dinner was a great success and we know this one will be too, the second year to hold it since the Club was organized. The hall will be decorated for this fes- tive season. There will be mu- sic for dancing and ete. All members have been contacted, so we are looking forward to a jolly get together to celebrate the nicest time of the year. We thank everyone for making this SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB worthwhile cause and such a benefit to'our older Citizens. There will be no meeting on Dec, 23rd 'on account of Christ- mas day. Next meeting will "be Wednesday, January 13th at 2.00 p.m. (second and fourth Wednesdays) as usual (until further notice). o Next euchre will be Saturday, December 19th at 8.30 p.m. Come and enjoy a good time. prizes and lunch served.
