10---PORT PERRY STAR, THURSDAY, JANUARY 21st, 1965 PROSPECT NEWS On Thursday evening the U.C.W, held their January meet- ing at the home of Mrs. Byron Holtby. The devotional period, with a New Year's theme, was conducted by 'Helen Holtby, opening with the following verse "Let us be a little kinder, Let us be a little blinder To the faults of those around us. Let us praise a little more, ° Let us be a little meeker With another that is weaker. Let us hink more of our neighbor And a little less of us." The hymn "Lead on O King Eternal" was followed by the Lord's Prayer, in unison. Kaye Smith read the Scripture les- son from Job 2, vs. 4-27. "A Year of Restoration" was read by Willa, concluding with prayer. Marie, Glen and Doug- las Holtby interspersed the program with piano solos.
