Green At a joint meeting held in this Church on Monday even- ing, Feb. 2, it was decided by a vote of 66 to 8 to form a three-point pastoral charge con- sisting of Pinedale, Seagrave and Greenbank congregations, to become effective, subject to Presbytery approval on July 1 "of this year. The meeting was conducted by Rev. Crawford of Omemee and Mr. Geo. Beare was Secretary. Minor changes will be made in the hours of Sunday services, the minister will continué to live at Green- bank and the minister's salary and other expenses will be shared on a membership basis. At the conclusion of the meet- ing lunch was served by the Greenbank ladies and a social half hour was enjoyed over the tea-cups. DOBLE A native of Brock Township all his life, Melvin John Ray Doble died suddenly on Feb. 4th, 1965. Death was attributed to a heart seizure. He had suf- fered one similar attack in Oc- tober but apparently feeling in moderately good health since that time. Mr. Doble was the son of the late William and Ida Doble and was born on October 3, 1902 in Brock Township. In June 1925 he married the former Ola M. Stone and they became the par- ents of two sons and a daugh- ter. He was a farmer by occu- pation and a member of the United Church. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Larry (Lawrence) of Ux- bridge, Ray of Zephyr and a daughter Mrs. J. Brison (Gwen) of Islington; also a sister, Mrs. Laura Baker. Two brothers, Ar- thur and Stanley are both de- ceased. Funeral service was held on Sunday, February 7th, at the McGuire and Low Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold K.
