The Junior boys play- ed a closé hard-fought battle with their guests but they werc defeated by them. The girl's teams journeyed to Sutton Friday. Both the junior and senior teams were defeated | by their hosts. Curling play-offs for the first schedule were held last Monday. The rink skipped by Ron Ken- nedy emerged the victors. Re- sults of the tests are now offi- cial, and the local and district piano and singing teachers will be proud to learn that a 100% score was achieved by their' pupils. Out of 25 piano pupils, ! passed with Honours. While we do not know whe- ther it is common practice for each and every music pupil to pass his or her examinations, it would seem that the six or . \ seven teachers in this area had' their students well prepared.
