The application will be made to the Minister of Municipal Affairs, and will be used in connection with the proposed sewage works project in the Village. ~ Present at the meeting was Mr. Chuck Kretch, representing the Canadian Mitchell Associa- tion Ltd. in his capacity as an advisor on the project. He discussed possible sites for a lagoon and explained that it is proposed to use a gravity system as much as possible and the further from Port Perry for a lagoon site, the greater would be the cost. He felt that the proposed sites would not be too close to residential proper- ties and is well within the re- gulations concerning lagoons. He pointed out that the Village should encourage development in the areas that the sewers will serve.
